THOTH / WINDOWS DESKTOP APP

Your code is still there.
Its context should be too.

Thoth indexes the folders you approve, groups real projects, and gives you a clear place to return to code you made weeks, months, or years ago.

Thoth is not a cloud IDE, a coding assistant, or a replacement for your folders. It is a local index for the work you already have.

WHAT IT DOES

A useful record starts
with clear boundaries.

01

You choose the folders.

Thoth reads only the locations you explicitly permit. You can add, refresh, or revoke them whenever you want.

02

It looks for projects.

Repositories and strong project manifests become project boundaries. Dependency folders, build output, caches, and binaries are skipped.

03

You keep the context.

Browse a project’s file tree, preview readable code, see local Git details, and save notes or categories for later.

PROJECT WORKSPACE

Open the project,
not a tiny drawer.

Thoth’s project view gives the file tree room to breathe. Select a file for a readable preview, then keep its path, local Git state, categories, and notes together at the side.

  • Collapsible nested file tree
  • Readable local code preview
  • Local Git and project notes

ACTIVITY + HISTORY

A record that points
back to real work.

The Record page counts modified eligible files in your approved folders, then places that activity beside recently touched projects and files. It is a reminder of what changed—not a made-up streak.

Connect GitHub only if you want to view its contribution calendar too. Local use never depends on it.

LOCAL BY DEFAULT

Your code is not
our product.

No background crawl

Thoth indexes when you ask it to. It does not scan folders you have not approved.

No required account

The archive, project detection, local Git details, and activity record work without signing in.

Optional GitHub connection

If you connect, approval happens in GitHub’s normal browser page. The token is kept in your operating-system credential vault.

THOTH FOR WINDOWS
